Amatriciana Thermomix Recipe

ALToIT: Amatriciana

Amatriciana is my favourite pasta sauce, and it was the first thing I ate when I got to Italy (it wasn’t the only time) and I was not disappointed! Famous for its kick of spice, which is balanced with the saltiness of pork, you can serve this with pasta for a traditional dish or get experimental with zucchini noodles or spoon it over any protein. Make this delicious Amatriciana in your Thermomix with minimal effort.

  1. I love this sauce and have made it many times. So versatile. I’ve added chicken, mushrooms, prawns, and even marinara mix to make seafood marinara. So easy and delicious!!

  2. 5 stars
Oh my!!! What a sauce I have used this for many pasta dishes, love it! Definitely well used in this house very flavour packed!

  3. 5 stars
    Wow wow wow!
It doesn’t take long and the kids eat it all
I personally haven’t had a bad recipe from the Skinnymixers

  4. I made this with the ricotta gnocchi and it was delicious. Mr fussy 13 said it was the best meal he had ever had! Miss fussy 9 wasn’t a fan but that may have been more to do with disagreeing with her brother. I thought it was yummy, especially the left over sauce the next day. I was a bit worried that the Bellini Supercook mushed up the bacon but as we are living in America and can’t get good bacon (we use Canadian-stye bacon) it worked out ok. You could taste the bacon and it was nice to have a break from bolognese!

  5. I made this as a sauce for my parmigiana and it went really well with the schnitzel. I also used leftover sauce with pasta for lunches so it is quite versatile.

  6. We made it zero chilli for the kids and added chilli powder to our own. So so delicious and I can see it being so versatile too. We stirred through shredded roast chicken as we had to use it up and it was so yummy and filling

  7. Delicious! Used bacon and only 1/2 tsp chilli flakes, perfect for me 🙂
    Italian husband approved 🙂
    Will definitely make again!
