  • 15 g | 0.5 oz white sesame seeds (omit for HCG p2)
  • 1 tbsp ground sumac
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp coconut sugar (or preferred sweetener)
  • 1 garlic clove, peeled
  • 15 g | 0.5 oz olive oil (omit for HCG p2)
  • 30 g | 1 oz lemon juice
  • 8 deboned chicken thighs
  • 1 whole lemon
  1. Put sesame seeds into mixer bowl, toast for 10 min/100°C or 212°F/speed 2/MC on. Allow to cool completely.
  2. Add cooled sesame seeds, sumac, oregano, thyme, salt, coconut sugar and garlic clove to mixer bowl. Chop for 3 sec/speed 9/MC on. Scrape bowl down.
  3. Add olive oil and lemon juice to mixer bowl and combine for 5 sec/speed 4/MC on.
  4. Combine marinade and chicken thighs in a glass bowl, cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour. Overnight is ideal.
  5. BBQ, Grill, bake or fry chicken thighs until cooked and charred.
  6. Squeeze the juice of one whole lemon over the cooked meat and serve.
This recipe is adaptable for HCG Protocol Phase 2 by omitting the olive oil, sesame seeds and coconut sugar.
