Thermomix Pea and Ham Soup

THMII: Pea & Ham Soup

My mum makes the best Pea & Ham Soup in the world, but it takes hours and makes a huge amount. This recipe turns a winter family favourite into an achievable weekly meal. This is also a very budget friendly recipe and filling.

  1. Once again Nik you have created a recipe that is simple but flavoursome. Thanks for a wonderful winter warmer.

  2. I’ve been making a pea soup recipe for over 20 years but this is my new version! So delicious, thank you for teaching an old dog new tricks!

  3. The whole family loved this soup! Will be adding this to my regular dinners as hubby says it’s his favourite recipe from this book.

  4. Made this last weekend, whole family loved it, so tasty. Frozen some to bring out again next weekend.
Have made so much out of this new book already and all worth repeating again and again💕

  5. Made with a 1.2kg ham hock in slow cooker. Tripled first part of recipe and cooked in thermomix the put into slow cooker with hock, stock paste and approx 2Lt water. Delicious and lots of nice warm ham mmm.

  6. This soup is absolutely divine!! It was beautiful and thick and even my fussy 16 year old ate it and said he’d happily have it again.

  7. Pea and ham soup win! Bought a smoked ham hock (no bacon bones at Coles!), Followed THM-II recipe, but the cooking was done in the slow cooker. Sooooo yum! Hubby has been sick the last week or so, and LOVED it too. No photos, we ate it too fast!

  8. This is exactly how mum would make it, but in heaps less time! Thankyou Nik, a new weekday favourite xx
