  1. Hello, is there any replacement for Egg? I’d like to make these for Daycare lunches but we’re in an egg free centre.

  2. I hadn’t made these for ages and I forgot how much I like them. I bake mine and they turn out perfect, the whole batch was gone in no time served with Nik’s garlic aioli on the side.

  3. Do you have to use the buttermilk ? Can it be replaced withmilk or cream? Do you need the Psyllium husks?

  4. Ok just a heads up people – don’t sample the ranch sauce while you’re waiting for bacon and broccoli fritters to cook……or you’ll have to make a second batch!!! 😂😂😂😂 Absolutely amazing! ✅✅✅✅✅

  5. Hi,
I have lots of buttermilk left from making butter in the tmx, will this work with this recipe?
    Thanks!

  6. I haven’t cooked the fritters yet but that Ranch Sauce is to die for! Yum!!! Best sauce i have ever made and it is so quick and easy. I like that it only makes a small (ish) portion so none will go to waste if not eaten right away. Love it. Thanks Nik

  7. This was the recipe my husband was most looking forward to from THMII, and it didn’t disappoint! Full of flavour, definitely taking to the next family BBQ

  8. These bites and the ranch dressing are delicious.
They are relatively quick to make.
Be aware the mixture is quite wet, but no problem.
I cooked them in a frypan and made sure I didn’t disturb them until they were well sealed on the cooked side.
Next time I’ll try baking in the oven for even more hands free time.
They would be great with a poached egg, herb salad and avocado for breakfast.
Will definitely be making these again.

    1. I baked mine and while they didn’t look fantastic as I didn’t shape them very well they tasted delicious – definitely give it a go!

  9. These were super quick and easy. I baked mine in the oven and they turned out perfect. So full of flavour and absolutely delicious. Cannot tell you if the ranch sauce or the fritters were better, they were both amazing on their own and even more amazing together!

  10. Thanks for another fantastic recipe Nik. These are just lovely, and even my fussy 16 year old loved them. The ranch sauce was the perfect accompaniment. Will definitely be making them again.

  11. These are so delicious! Kids have requested them for lunches once school goes back. Another amazing recipe.

  12. Great for my toddler…. and for me. I didn’t make the ranch, instead I served with the tzatziki from the lamb meatball recipe. Worked well oven baked as I couldn’t be bothered frying them all.

  13. Omg!
    These are the best!
Made for dinner last night. Kids all ate them in bugers.
Did have to tell them after there was broccoli in them lol.
Im having them again for lunch with salad and ranch dressing! Licking the plate!
