  1. I was looking forward to this meal but after the last step it was a disaster. I was skeptical about the timing of the cook as 8 mins seemed short for the chicken. Not only was it mostly raw at the end but completely shredded. I noticed there was no reverse blade instruction in the recipe so i just followed as written. Huge mistake. Smells delicious but I’m left with half cooked slop now.

    1. Hi Caitlin, I’m sorry your dinner didn’t turn out as you hoped. This recipe is very well tested, I’m not sure what went wrong for you. With this recipe it is important to stick to the specified amount of small cubed thigh, this will avoid shredding and will cook in the time specified. Changing to chicken breast/tenderloins or increasing the ingredients will impact the results. There is a Super Skinny variation that uses the butterfly if you are wanting to switch to chicken breast 🙂 Hopefully this helps.

Our family love this dish. It’s so good to have another quick, tasty recipe for mid-week nights repertoire. Thanks Nic

This was sooooo yummy! Tasted as good as it smelt while cooking. Super easy and very fast. I doubled the vegies and there was still plenty of sauce to coat everything. So good!

  4. Easy, quick, delicious, exactly how I want my food. Ive made this several times it’s perfect with both rice and noodles.

  5. Wow. First meal I’ve cookes from thm:III, my chap and I loved it, the 5yr old loved the chicken and rice but felt it was a bit salty after a while. I use tamari but maybe there is a salt free aminos or tamari, will need to check. Chap and I had leftovers and it was even better. Rice worked well and we definitely felt like we’d eaten out or had take out. Yum!!

  6. So good! I used arrowroot flour, and it was delicious. Kids devoured. Veggies cooked to perfection too!
