ALToIT: Torta Di Nocciole (Hazelnut Torte)

This Hazelnut Torte is a decadently rich combination of chocolate and hazelnuts, and is one of the most delicious Thermomix desserts I have ever created. It is fantastic to prepare ahead of time and will no doubt be requested time and time again.

Ingredients

  • blanched hazelnuts found at Woolworths, Costco, bulk whole foods
  • 50-70% dark chocolate
  • unsalted butter
  • sugar of choice
  • vanilla bean paste or extract
  • salt
  • baking powder
  • eggs
  • pure cream pouring / whipping cream

Notes

This recipe has Dairy Free/Paleo, Nut Free and Low Carb variations.
TIP: If your nuts or cream are on the oily side and your ganache splits a little. Add 50 g cream and blend on speed 3 until combined.
