THMII: Chicken Cacciatore

One of my ‘specialties’ when I first moved out of home was Chicken Cacciatore – except that I used to make it out of a pre-made sauce jar, being oblivious to the fact that it was not only more expensive than this recipe but full of nasty preservatives, sodium and sugars. This recipe takes less than 30 minutes to create another family favourite with the Skinnymixers touch on it.

  • tomato sugo/passata
  • button mushrooms

  • white wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar

  • baby capers
  • fresh oregano
  • fresh basil
