THMD4: Honey Garlic Prawn Stir Fry

I’ve recently developed a fondness for cooking with prawns. Not only are they fast to cook, high in protein and lower in calories, but if I buy raw prawn meat I don’t have to cut up any meat for a fast dinner! If you love Chinese Honey Chicken or Honey Prawns, you will love this super easy stir-fry. I prefer to cook this one hot and fast in the wok for best results!

Ingredients

  • 500 g green prawn meat
  • capsicum
  • cornflour
  • garlic
  • ground white pepper
  • honey
  • olive oil
  • rice wine vinegar
  • snow peas
  • soy sauce

Notes

Serve with rice, cauliflower rice or noodles. Garnish with spring onion and sesame seeds.
Seafood Free: Replace prawns with thinly sliced chicken thigh or beef. Season with 2 tsp soy sauce prior to cooking.
Higher Protein: Increase prawns and cook using the conventional method.
