Conventional:
Chop garlic finely and heat butter and garlic in a medium frying pan over medium-high heat until butter has melted - approximately 5 min.
Turn the temperature to medium-low heat and add cream, mustard, onion powder, stock concentrate and pepper. Allow to simmer lightly for 2 min.
Add avocado and stir through the sauce. Allow to simmer, stirring lightly for 3 min. Serve immediately. Season to taste.
Serve on grilled, steamed or air fried chicken.
Dairy Free:
Use dairy-free cream and dairy-free butter spread/ghee. We love the Flora dairy free cream found at Coles and Woolworths. You can also use light coconut cream if you like.
Low Fodmap:
Use lactose-free cream. Omit garlic and replace half of the butter with garlic-infused olive oil. Replace onion powder with dried chives.
Halved/Doubled:
This recipe can only be halved using the conventional method. To double in the thermo cooker, extend the cream cook time step by 1 min.
