Skinnymixer’s this Creamy Avocado Sauce is one I’ve been making for years! I absolutely adore using it to use on top of some chicken and Silky Sweet Potato Mash.
This healthy Thermomix recipe was a bit polarising with the testing team!
Some love the delicious creamy, warm avocado sauce and then there are some others that won’t bring themselves to try the warm avocado – chickens (Sian :p )! I need to know though… if you are team warm avo?
Honestly it is one of my favourite, healthy, comfort food recipes that is so easy to make at home to serve the family a nutritious restaurant quality dinner.
This sauce is so versatile – if you find other uses, I’d love to hear them!
- mixed through your favourite pasta with chicken
- on top of a chicken schnitzel with some prawns
- smothered over some hot chips or Mez’s Famous Potato Wedges
- poured over the Perfect Steak or Perfect Chicken Breast
- or an easy dinner of Air-fried Seasoned Chicken Tenders on Silky Sweet Potato Mash

Notes
Dairy Free:
Use dairy-free cream and dairy-free butter spread/ghee. We love the Flora dairy free cream found at Coles and Woolworths. You can also use light coconut cream if you like.Low Fodmap:
Use lactose-free cream. Omit garlic and replace half of the butter with garlic-infused olive oil. Replace onion powder with dried chives.Halved/Doubled:
This recipe can only be halved using the conventional method. To double in the thermo cooker, extend the cream cook time step by 1 min. Tried this recipe?Mention @skinnymixer or tag #skinnymixers!
