If you're going to enjoy waffles, you might as well have hidden veg added and the beautiful fragrance of pumpkin spice in the air while they cook. I love pumpkin waffles either sweet or savoury and these are also an amazing quick breakfast freezer stash — just pop one in your toaster and they're ready to go.

- maple syrup
