Skinnymixer’s Cinnamon Oat Crunch features in the Breakfast section of the cookbook SkinnyAmerica.

The Cinnamon Oat Crunch is a cookbook exclusive recipe…

One of the most popular cereals in America is Cinnamon Toast Crunch, this is our healthier homemade version.

My kids LOVE it but I find it so overwhelmingly sweet that it hurts my teeth.

Grant came up with this version that is way less sugary, but has the awesome cinnamon sugar and crunch – it’s so good that the first time he made it I ate the entire batch as dry snacks in two days.

For our Gluten-free Skinnymixers:

Here in Australia, there aren’t oats that are classified as ‘gluten-free’ especially for coeliacs.

We’ve tested this recipe with Quinoa Flakes as the oat replacement and for anyone who is Paleo, replacing the oats with additional nuts and seeds is delicious as a granola too.
