Thermomix Gnocchi Recipe

Ricotta Gnocchi is a great low carb alternative to traditional gnocchi, and so filling that you can keep your portion sizes under control too! We also recommend serving the gnocchi with the Puttanesca and Amatriciana for a skinnier option. Making Ricotta Gnocchi is so incredibly easy in the Thermomix.

  • fresh traditional ricotta from your deli counter
  • egg
  • chicken stock concentrate
  • unsalted butter
  • lemon juice
  • basil

Notes

This recipe has vegetarian and low fodmap variations. You can steam or pan fry this gnocchi. Please make sure you buy firm ricotta and not the smooth, runny ricotta.

    I have a love hate relationship with gnocchi. I love eating a good gnocchi but all my attempts have had dismal results. Until now, that is! I’d almost given up on gnocchi but I loved this recipe. Quicker, easier and less mess. Light, fluffy and gone in a flash. My 7 kids were fighting over the remains. Thanks for an awesome recipe.

  2. I made this with the Amatriciana sauce. The dumplings were little fluffy clouds of cheese. They stayed together in the Bellini Supercook with store plastic tub ricotta, as I can’t bu fresh deli ricotta in my part of Texas. Mr fussy 13 said it was his favourite meal ever. Miss 9 ate the gnocchi and left the sauce. It was surprisingly filling.

  3. Being Italian I grew up eating traditional potato gnocchi, once a year only as there is so much work involved.
    Now that has all changed, thanks to my Thermie & Nik for the absolute best gnocchi recipe. Ricotta Gnocchi is by far the nicest gnocchi I have ever had. From now on this will be the only way I make it. Quick & Easy, I just need to make more than one batch 🙂 this recipe will not disappoint. I ate mine steamed, I did try pan fry but for me steamed was more traditional. Enjoy the recipe guys

  4. I cleared my schedule to make this recipe, thinking about how long traditional potato gnocchi takes to make. I couldn’t believe how quick it was which makes it a fast and easy dinner for us but also the kids! Highly reccomend pan frying some pancetta and asparagus to add in as well!
