  • basmati rice
  • cayenne pepper - optional
  • cracked black pepper
  • dried bay leaves
  • dried oregano leaves
  • dried rosemary

  • brown onion

  • green capsicum
  • Chicken Stock Concentrate
  • smoked paprika

Instructions

Notes

Serve garnished with spring onion and parsley. This Cajun dressed rice can be served as a main meal with some other sides but it goes beautifully with the Blackened Chicken (p.99). You can also use it as a stuffing in chicken or turkey, as a side dish or stuffed in capsicums and baked.
