Notes

You can buy your Crio Brü from:-

My favourite flavour is the French Roast Cavalla. I encourage my followers to support this amazing local Australian business 🙂
This just might top the skinnymixer's Bulletproof Crio Brü as my favorite way to drink Crio Brü. This is adapted from the chai tea recipe which comes with the TMX.
This serves 2 but you can halve the ingredients for one.
You can substitute milk for coconut milk for a dairy free version!

  1. 5 stars
I have learned huge knowledge from here. While i was researching your article helped me a lot. I am waiting for your updates.

  2. Wonderful ! But if i was making that everyday ( like i want to 😆) it would cost a fortune ! Not sure if a bag a bru would last a week, let alone the expense of the raw honey ! What a bummer its so good , treat day by the looks 😯

  3. Can you please clarify step 1&2. What does mill refer to (what appliance are you using ) speed and mc? If you could please clarify give more detail to those two steps that would be helpful. Thank you.

  4. yummm – I have had two bags of crio bru in the cupboard for over a year and wasn’t a fan. Tried your recipe today and it was a hit – kids also loved it as they thought it was a hot chocolate. We also used almond milk worked great.

  5. My first taste of crio bru was a bit of a disappointment to me, after all the hype I was a bit let down. I don’t know what I was expecting but I didn’t get it. Well that’s all changed now, I have just tried this recipe and Wow. Thank you Nik. I love it.

  6. I can’t wait to make this over the weekend, it sounds so decadent but a great coffee alternative (I already love crio bru)!
Any idea how much ground cinnamon to use if I don’t have any cinnamon quills? Used my last one yesterday for the butter chicken (Y-to the-UM)!

  7. Wow wow wow! So devastated I was initially to have to give up dairy as it upset my son (I’m breastfeeding), but to then discover this- yummo!
I use Coconut milk and didn’t have a cinnamon stick so used already powdered cinnamon.
Thankyou Nikalene for giving the dairy free, caffeine avoiders the best dessert treat to have.

  8. Wow – First time I brewed this and it is amazing – so full of flavour 🙂 Thanks for another great recipe 🙂

  9. Oh my goodness, this is amazing! Will definately be having this at night to wind down once the kids are in bed. Thanks so much

  10. One word comes to mind when I sipped my freshly brewed chai crio bru…….

    AMAZEBALLS!

So simple, yet full of SO much flavour. Such a lovely alternative to a chai tea. This will be my go to from now on! Who needs coffee right?

  11. Just made my very first cup of the Chai Crio Bru – with coconut milk. It is divine!! I confess that although it is just for me I didn’t halve the recipe AND I’m so glad. Rich and flavourful. I’m one happy woman right now!!
