Classic Diner-style Hash Browns are truly something special.

In the Breakfast section of SkinnyAmerica (right next to the Maple Candied Bacon) we have the a number of waffle house topping options, different dietary variations and cooking instructions ie. frypans, pie makers!

Waffle House Topping Options

  • Smothered Add 1 small grated onion.
  • Covered Add some cheese on top after flipping.
  • Chunked Add diced smoked ham.
  • Diced Add  diced tomato.
  • Peppered Add  diced jalapeño.
  • Capped Top with sauteed mushrooms.
  • Country Top with Sausage Gravy.

Equipment

  • Grater or grater attachment for the Thermomix – We recommend a thick grate and not a fine grate, to retain texture.
  • Nut milk bag or clean kitchen cloth to squeeze out the liquid. 
  • Bowl for mixing

Cooking Methods

  • Stovetop – large non-stick frypan
  • BBQ, smoker or oven – baking tray
  • Pie maker or Sandwich press

First we prepare the potato by grating it
