When I think of Southern comfort food, I think of biscuits and gravy. It blows my mind that people genuinely eat this combination for breakfast, because itโ€™s so rich and heavily seasoned.

The Sausage Gravy served on a warm, flaky Biscuit is truly something special though.

For me personally I like it for lunch with a side of vinegar dressed green salad to cut through the richness. Itโ€™s incredibly indulgent, but with the Skinnymixers twist of making your own sausage mix it has been made at least a bit healthier.
