From the Testing Team
- Leia S – Definitely pulled out bigger bowls tonight
. I learned after last time. The battle of what to cook tonight was real. This recipe, the Bibimbap & the Butter Chicken Risotto are our most cooked from the new book.
- Leia S – Honestly we love love this dish. After testing the White Lazy Lasagna last night I had 500g of chicken mince leftover so I knew I had to make this. Unfortunately I had no bean sprouts of Thai basil but no one here cared. I did have 1/2 a red capsicum so I sliced that up & threw it on. Pretty sure I used pork mince last time. Can confirm chicken mince Is just as delicious.
- Renee H – Ok wow!! This was soooo yuuummm. I had an egg that I opened because my chook laid a massive one so I cooked it and added to my lunch. So friggen tasty!! I was the only house member to eat this as no-one was hungry or home. Will serve this to them for dinner. So so yum.
- Tara L – As many have said before me – need bigger bowls
. Very nice dish. Very fresh and light meal. Husband inhaled it (after he picked off his one teeny tiny coriander leaf
)
- Angie G – This dish is an absolute Flavour BomB !! We loved it
yum yum Served on a dinner plate coz decided the dinner bowl was way too small and everything in it would have been squished lol
That sauce is soo good and just about drinkable !! There’s only 2 of us for dinner and not much sauce left over for tomorrow nights dinner lol so might have to make another half a batchWe had all the toppings and they certainly add to the flavours !! I was even lucky to find fresh Thai basil at our local Woolworths so didn’t have to use any from the freezer stash .. fresh is definitely better !! Another delicious recipe added to my top favorites list
- Michelle R -Ummm yummo! Wasn’t overly excited for this one… Thought it might be a bit bland, a bit simple but wow! I made it with grated tofu
