Cooking the maple bacon spread while the loaf bakes in the oven is a time efficient, impressive brunch meal.
Since developing this Savoury Loaf Thermomix recipe I have found it to be a staple in my freezer, it is so convenient to always have something filling and nutritious ready to toast.
It isn’t essential to make the Maple Bacon Spread, it is just something different to try that I found really enhances the flavours in this Savoury Loaf.

50 g Kalamata olives, fetta and rosemary
zucchini, crispy bacon, fresh herbs
We tested all different variations for the Savoury Loaf such as Gluten Free flour, plain flour, Dairy Free, Paleo, Low Fodmap and Halved.
The Maple Bacon Spread can’t be halved, but we do include instructions for Low Carb/Paleo and Low Fodmap.

Egg Free: This recipe was tested with a couple of different egg replacers. First was Neat Egg used as the eggs. This produced the best result. The second was a flax replacer - mill flaxseeds and mix with 2.5 Tbsp water.
