Making your own Roti Canai is sooo worth it when you crunch into that buttery, flaky goodness
This is how I was shown to make Roti Canai in Malaysia a number of year ago. I’ve since converted it to Thermomix and thought it was time to share the recipe in SkinnyAsia!
What you will need:
- Baker’s flour – we use Wallaby’s Baker’s Flour from Coles
- salt
- water
- ghee or olive oil
How to Roll and Cook Roti
Gluten-free Roti
We recommend Gluten-free bread mix for this recipe, not just plain gluten-free flour.
You can use any of the options as you use the water amounts on the box, these are the 2 we tested:
- Simply Wize Crusty Bread Mix
- Laucke gluten free bread mix
