Skinnymixer’s Palak Raita features in the Sides of the cookbook SkinnyAsia 2.
I originally wrote a version of this recipe for my very first cookbook A Little Taste of India, but later released it on the blog to complement a Tandoori recipe. It is so delicious and still a favourite of mine to this day! This version uses baby spinach.
Serve with Chicken Biryani Bake (p.83), Slow Cooked Rogan Josh (p.85), Roast Tandoori Chicken (p.97) and Dal Makhani (p.107).

From the Testing Team
- Leia – None of us had ever had anything like this before we are not big Asian cuisine eaters normally. But this was absolutely delicious I could eat it in crackers or just by the spoonful.Paired beautifully with the tandoori roast chicken. I also made a side of buttery garlic rice & it complimented it fantastic.
