I know some people are obsessed with the Banana Pudding from Magnolia Bakery in New York, but for me Banana Pudding is a MUST order dessert with your Texas style Barbecue.
The Banana Pudding in SkinnyAmerica isn’t sickly sweet and doesn’t use condensed milk – what you do get is a delicious thick vanilla custard, perfect Nilla Wafer biscuits with plenty of fresh banana and vanilla sweetened cream…. HEAVEN!
If you don’t like banana or can’t eat it, the strawberry version is also delicious!
Travelling through Texas on a number of occasions, I have eaten my fair share of barbecue at some of the worlds greatest barbecue establishments- and what they all have in common is that they offer “free dessert”.
