Tips & Dietary Needs
- Protein swap – feel free to use beef, pork or chicken mince.
- Don’t like coriander? You can use a little more of the other herbs to replace the fresh coriander.
- Egg-free – you can omit the egg easily, no substitutes required.
- Low carb – Serve with a salad and not in bread. It is perfectly low carb.
- Lower calorie – use chicken mince and omit egg.
- Go veggie – Replace meat with 2 tins black beans, feta, breadcrumbs.
- Low Fodmap – Use spring onions, garlic infused olive oil.
How to Cook
First we chop the garlic, fresh herbs and roasted capsicum for the sauce.
Then combine all sauce ingredients and set aside in the fridge.
For the burger patties we mince garlic, chop herbs and onions. Then combine with the burger patties ingredients.
For the mince mixture into 4 patties and cook either hot and fast or low and slow.
How to Serve
- Serve with a side salad or as a burger in these delicious Soft Yoghurt Burger Buns.

Storage & Meal Prep
- Batch prep – Freeze uncooked in an airtight container, with baking paper in between each layer.
- Thawing from frozen: Let it sit in fridge overnight, then warm gently (or enjoy cold).
From the Testing Team
- Angie Gj – Absolute flavour BomB Burger !!
The burger patties are full of flavour & juicy !! Easy to prepare and perfectly cooked within the recipe time. And that sauce tastes amazing and so fresh !! Loved it !! Would also go well with BBQ lamb cutlets or a steak so it will be made often. Served the burger patties topped with yummy sauce, lettuce & tomatoes on the Turkish style burger flatbreads
