Szechuan Peppercorns
Szechuan peppercorns, Sichuan peppercorn, Sichuan pepper or even Chinese coriander, is a spice commonly found in Chinese cuisine.
It is not hot like black, white or chili peppers. Instead it has slight lemony overtones and creates a tingly numbing sensation. If you cannot find this spice for the Sticky Szechuan Pork Belly and Asian broth, you can omit. However it obviously won’t be Szechuan Pork Belly.
