Chicken Bacon Spaghetti

This Chicken & Bacon Spaghetti from The Healthy Mix IV is my new family favourite Thermomix recipe. With the overwhelming popularity of the Creamy Tuscan Prawn Linguine in A Little Taste of Italy, I knew I had to create another all in one pasta dish for this book—but I also knew that it needed to be lighter on the calories.

This recipe has a sentimental element to it, as when I was little, my mum and I used to love putting chopped cashews on a rose sauce pasta.

While it does still have cream in it, it is much less than your typical cream based pasta.

Chicken & Bacon Spaghetti

  1. This is a quick and easy dish to make, I use the GF pasta and it works well. ALternatively, and if I am feeding a larger crowd, I will cook pasta in a seperate pot and add more chicken to the sauce. Delish!

Absolutely delicious! I used linguine. Soo quick and easy to make! Tastes even better the day after. Will certainly become a regular for me.
I made it mid morning. Put it in the thermoserver with extra baby spinach. Then went shopping and running errands. Came back to a delicious hot lunch!

  3. Wish this was a free recipe as it contains cheap ingredients so would be great for families and students on a budget.
Got great reviews wish I could buy the book to try it…

This is absolutely our favourite! Sooooo good. We always make it without the chicken because it’s always a last minute decision. So quick and easy. Must try.

Absolutely incredible this book is worth its weight in gold just for the chicken and bacon spaghetti… it seriously tastes like restaurant quality food. I could believe such minimal ingredients had such amazing flavour .. I didn’t have baby spinach so I added 4 cubes of frozen kale to the sauce whilst it was cooking and noone even knew … next time I may use reverse slow speed after adding pasta

Made this with fettucine as it was all I had. Flavours were lovely. I then let it sit in the thermoserver which i think overcooked it. I reheated some the next day and the pasta had gone to mush. Will try again with spaghetti and wont leave it in a thermoserver next time.
