When I think of Southern comfort food, I think of biscuits and gravy. It blows my mind that people genuinely eat this combination for breakfast, because it’s so rich and heavily seasoned.
The Sausage Gravy served on a warm, flaky Biscuit is truly something special though.
For me personally I like it for lunch with a side of vinegar dressed green salad to cut through the richness. It’s incredibly indulgent, but with the Skinnymixers twist of making your own sausage mix it has been made at least a bit healthier.
