Now that the #skinnywhip is back in full force on the Facebook Group, I thought it was perfect timing to create the SkinnyWhip recipe! This quick and easy sweet condiment is the perfect accompaniment to our Roasted Balsamic Strawberries, Low Carb Burger Buns or Pancakes for a sweet breakfast treat – think healthy cheesecake deliciousness. - 200 g | 7 oz fresh ricotta (from the service deli, low fat or full fat)
- 10 g - 20 g | 0.3 – 0.7 oz honey (or liquid sweetener of choice, see tip for granulated)
- 5 g | 0.2 oz milk of choice
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ⅛ tsp nutmeg
- Insert butterfly whisk to mixer bowl, add all ingredients and whip for 20 sec/speed 4/MC on or until well combined. Note: If using the lower amount of sweetener, feel free to taste and add a little more if not quite sweet enough. Blend for a further 20 sec/speed 4/MC on.
