Skinnymixer’s Korean Not Fried Chicken features in the cookbook SkinnyAsia. I have it on good authority that some of the testing team have been making this on high rotation… sometimes 3 times a week! Sweet, salty & spicy … you will definitely want to make extra as it disappears fast! This recipe will be VERY popular!
SkinnyAsia is available from Friday 22nd of September at 8pm SA time.
Korean Not Fried Chicken is all the things we love about Korean Fried Chicken but much healthier!
This recipe in SkinnyAsia, cooks the chicken in an air fryer (or oven) for a super speedy dinner.
While the chicken cooks, you can make the sauce either in the Thermomix or on the stovetop. Honestly, it is very easy and a great recipe to get the kids involved!
Is it spicy?
This will completely depend on what Gochujang Paste you use. The one pictured below from Coles is milder than the one you buy at Woolworths. There are also different heat levels you can buy at the Asian supermarket ie. mild, spicy, extra spicy and there is also gluten-free versions.
We do have tips in SkinnyAsia on how to control the level of heat for your family.
