It doesn’t get much more Aussie than an Aussie Burger… unless you opt to use my new Aussie Lamb Burger Patties instead of beef!
To celebrate Australia Day 2021, I thought it was time I created a delicious and healthy Aussie Lamb Burger Patties Thermomix recipe… much like my American Burger Patties these can be enjoyed in a burger or salad bowl and I highly recommend a heavy dollop of my beetroot relish to top it off 😉
Skinnymixer's Aussie Lamb Burger Patties
Servings: 5
Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 small handful flat leaf parsley leaves
- 5 large fresh mint leaves or 8 small
- 500 g lamb mince
- 1 egg optional but recommended
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt increase up to 1 tsp
- ½ tsp cumin powder
Instructions
- Add garlic, parsley & mint to mixer bowl. Chop for 3 sec/speed 9/MC on. Scrape bowl down and repeat.
- Add remaining ingredients and combine 10 sec/speed 3/MC on.
- Form into preferred burger sized patties (makes approx. 4-6) flatten and grill, pan-fry or BBQ.
- To Cook on a Smoker: 135°C or 275°F until 71°C or 160°F internal temp.
