Thermomix duck

Duck has been on my list of ingredients to tackle in my Thermomix for many years, however I could never work up the courage to give it a go because of how notoriously easy it is to overcook and to under season this protein. I am proud to say that I have nailed the essence of duck and plum sauce, with a healthy Skinnymixer twist. This is a flavoursome lunch option that has proven popular with adults and kids alike, and can be prepared ahead of time for an on-the-run meal.

  1. These are absolutely amazing!! dont be deterred by the rice paper wrapping part it also makes a yummy salad by itself.
I also used the duck seasoning on pork which i smoked and served on low carb burger buns with that yummy plum sauce and the same salad ingredients.
    Bloody delicious

  2. Rice paper rolls are super easy but this duck takes them to the next level. I don’t think I’ve ever cooked duck at all, let alone in my thermo. It was so easy and the flavour pairings are perfection. The plum sauce was so good – we all made our rolls as we ate them but I gave everyone their own ramekin of sauce so double dipping was not an issue… sahhhhh good.
