This Cherry Bourbon BBQ Sauce makes the most amazing glaze for our Pork Belly Burnt Ends Banh Mi and the Not So Fast Ribs.
Using the natural sweetness of Morello Cherries – available from your local supermarket in the canned fruit section.For the Bourbon you are welcome to use your favourite, I guarantee it will be delicious. But don’t worry if you aren’t a bourbon drinker, this sauce doesn’t taste like alcohol and it uses only the smallest amount.
Personally I used Wild Turkey but I’ve seen other’s use Jack Daniels, Gentleman Jack and even rum!
