Chicken Cordon Bleu Thermomix Recipe

It turns out that this Chicken Cordon Bleu Thermomix recipe is not actually a French recipe at all, but rather a Swiss one with a very French name.

I didn’t actually realise this until after I had developed the recipe and both my family, and the development team fell in love with it. This is one of the tastiest recipes I have ever developed, so much so that I believe you will forgive me for my error in origin.

This very tasty Chicken Cordon Bleu Thermomix recipe is exclusive to the cookbook – A Little Taste of France.

Perfect for those Skinnymixers on a gluten free or low carb diet, these Chicken Cordon Bleu’s also have variations to make them low fodmap and dairy free.

A Little Taste of France

You may have noticed my favourite WOLL frypans in the Chicken Cordon Bleu video. I absolutely love the detachable handle to pop it in the oven (no more burnt hands!) and they are honestly a dream to clean.

They are available from Everten – Love to Cook, who offer a 60 day money back guarantee on them.

  • Excellent and even heat distribution due to diamond coating
  • Non-stick
  • Non-toxic

So if you are in the market for a new frypan, I definitely recommend WOLL!

Nik is the sauce Queen! Another amazing dish. The kids didn’t like it, but that just meant for us! I thought they would be harder to make, but as long as you keep your hands wet, it was a lot easier than I thought.

Made this for the first time last night and it was a huge hit! My hubby said it was the best cordon bleu he has ever had. Very easy to make. I will definitely be making a big batch for the freezer. Thanks Nik and team

  3. We have nut allergies in our family – almond being the biggest offender. Is there another alternative to bread crumbs (for low carb diet) that’s not almonds?
PS hubby can eat cashews for example so not all nuts are out. Any way cauliflower rice would work?

  4. On the plus side – Cordon Bleu is the name of the cooking school that Julia Child attended in France.. So that’s something pretty awesome 🙂

Made these for the first time. Husband had three & fussy eater who eats nothing ate two. Definitely will become a regular meal in our house. So easy and absolutely delicious 😋😋😋😋.

such a great recipe, the kids love getting involved and rolling their own and the flavour and texture is perfect!

Made this tonight, and it was delicious! I haven’t done the Kievs before, so I was a little nervous about how hard it would be, but it was really simple! (If a little messy!) I used triple smoked ham and “swiss style” cheese (local stupidmarket didn’t have the real stuff and couldn’t get to a deli) and the flavour was fabulous.
Hubby and super-fussy son didn’t notice that there was anything strange about the ‘crumb’ either 🙂
Served with the Rouille from ALToF, which was so simple and yummy, and paired really well with the chicken.
The best part was that none of them leaked, which is more than I can say for any commercial efforts I’ve had before! Thanks for a great recipe!
