Course: HCG Protocol

  • 2 tsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp boiling water
  • 2-5 drops of liquid stevia - to taste
  • 1 tsp coconut oil - optional for those on LCHF

  • Put all ingredients into a small bowl and mix well with a spoon.

Serve immediately warm, or chill in the fridge. Sauce will thicken on chilling and can set hard as well if left long enough.
You can replace the liquid stevia with a tsp of honey or maple if you prefer and it is within your diet.

  1. Wow! Excellent sauce – so easy and quick and versatile. Try it mixed with toasted nuts (for example almonds – yum!) and then allowed to set. Or poured over banana ‘ice cream’. The possibilities are endless!

  2. Looks lovely, however can you please clarify how it is HCG P2 compliant? I am under the assumption that P2 does not allow fats, so the coconut oil is out. Or do you mean for P2 omit the oil, and just use cacao, water and the stevia? Thanks

    1. I’m not sure what Nik means in this instance, BUT Some protocols allow coconut oil, as your body burns off that fat faster than it can store it. Sometimes it’s a lifesaver, and can even increase loss. I’ve made something similar I found on a U.S protocol, but poured into silicone ice cube tray and refrigerated to set hard, perfect little bit of sweetness if you’re desperate for chocolate, and one little piece followed by water is more than enough 🙂

  3. This was a life saver for me whilst on the HCG P2 – I was a chocoholic, hoping that will go once I am finished HCG and was craving something ‘naughty’ – along comes Guilt Free Chocolate Sauce to the rescue – even my hubby loves it – thanks Nikalene, saved from feeling deprived with this one.
