Skinnymixers Lamb Korma

Sharing is caring!

A quintessential Mughlai curry, the Korma is a mild yet rich cashew nut yoghurt based curry, which is frequently preferred by those who are sensitive to spice. The chicken variation is just as delicious! This Thermomix Curry is truly a standout in this book and is deliciously adapted for those that have allergies/intolerances.

  1. Made recently, but subbed out the greek yoghurt and cream for 400mL coconut cream. I don’t know why but it totally watered down the flavour palette from when I’ve made it the recommended way in the past. I won’t be rushing back to remake it DF, and will instead wait til I can have it the way Nik intended (which from my previous experiences has been delicious)

  2. 5 stars
Absolutely sensational. Made this with chicken instead and it’s a 10/10 recipe. Will definitely be making this one again and again!! Thanks for a beautiful recipe x

  3. Delicious! I made beef korma. Browned the beef in a pan, then added made up sauce / gravy to slow cooker with meat and cooked for 3.5 hours on low. Next time I will double so we have left overs!

  4. When using chicken do you still need to cook it for 20 mins when adding the cashew gravy and then when chicken added in step 8? Or can I just cook it once for the 20 mins?

  5. What is babas meat curry? Is that the brand name or is it meat based? Sorry if it’s a dumb question but I don’t eat red meat so was just wondering if it is in fact meat based or just the name.
    Thanks,
    Kellie

  6. Amazingly delectable and SO authentic tasting. This has been a regular in our house for 18 months now and it’s a family fave! Thanks Nik X

  7. I don’t eat lamb so cooked this with chicken when I had my parents over for a curry night (they are English so love their curries). This was the favourite curry of the night. It was a last minute add on as I saw how quick and easy it was to make. This Thermomix curry recipe is absolutely delicious! Thank you!!!

    1. Could I please ask. How long did you end up cooking it for? Did you cook the gravy for 20 mins then add the chicken or just add together and cook for 20 mins in total? I’m hoping to make it tmw night. Thanks.
