Cafe de Paris Butter Skinnymixers Thermomix recipe

The Café de Paris Butter Thermomix recipe from the cookbook A Little Taste of France is incredibly decadent, delicious and just what I imagine when I think of French Cuisine—a juicy piece of steak slathered in butter, served with pomme frites!

It was the first meal I ate when visiting France 10 years ago, and I have been enjoying rare steak ever since!

If you are afraid of the anchovies in this recipe, I promise you will not be able to smell or taste them—be brave and give it a go!

This recipe is exclusive to the cookbook, A Little Taste of France and has variations to make it Paleo, seafood free, dairy free and Low Fodmap. It is naturally suitable for gluten free and LCHF diets.

When you make the Cafe de Paris Butter, you are able to freeze leftover portions for easy flavourful weeknight dinners.

A Little Taste of France: Café de Paris Butter

This Cafe de Paris Butter from Skinnymixers A Little Taste of France cookbook, will be something you always want to keep in the freezer/fridge to take a simple protein like steak or chicken to the next level in flavour with ease. Delicious on meat, fish, steamed vegetables, crusty bread or even in a Chicken Kiev. If you have an egg allergy, we highly recommend using this on top of your Pork Fillet Dinner instead of the Bearnaise sauce.

This recipe is delicious, can’t get enough of it
My son and his mates are often having this on their steak

This is a staple in my fridge. You can use it on your steak, mash potato, bread, chicken, and prawns.

It’s so delicious I spread it on my bread and secretary eat it!!

  3. Takes a piece of nice steak to next level! Even anchovy haters loved it! Also good on crusty Bread stick as garlic bread and stuffed under the skin of a roasted chook.

This simple little butter packs a huge flavour hit. That warm saltiness on top of steak, veg, wheetbix (jokes, but seriously, it goes with anything) is a party in your mouth. There’s not enough words to describe just how amazing it is. I’m not a fan of capers normally but you can’t taste them. So use them and the anchovies. It won’t be the same without them and you won’t regret it.

This was AMAZING!! My husband was blown away by this. So easy to make and my Skinnymixers repertoire just keeps growing!

YUM YUM YUM! my only regret is being an anchovy sceptic and using 2 instead of 4 anchovies. Will never have steak without this butter again.

i made this last night for the first time…the hype is REAL!!! if you’ve been putting it off because of the anchovies you are missing out!! even the kids couldnt believe the flavour!!

  8. Dont think we will ever bother getting steak with garlic sauce from a restaurant ever again. Nothing can beat this!!
