Skinnymixer’s Dumpling Dipping Sauce features in the cookbook SkinnyAsia. The perfect dipping sauce for the SkinnyAsia Gyoza and Kimchi Pancakes.
SkinnyAsia is available from Friday 22nd of September at 8pm SA time.
I’m sure you will agree that the dipping sauce is almost more important than the dumplings being dipped!
This dipping sauce recipe uses the Chilli Oil in the cookbook. If you are yet to make the SkinnyAsia Chilli Oil, you could use any supermarket chilli crisp oil for this dipping sauce.
One of the key benefits of making your own Dumpling Dipping Sauce is that you can control how much chilli/heat you add, so if you like it hot feel free to add the higher range of Chilli Oil.
It is a very simple recipe that can easily be tweaked to your own personal tastes, so if you don’t like too much chilli just add a small amount.
We also have all the variations for Paleo, Low Carb, Low Fodmap and halved or doubled.
Once made, you can keep a stash of this sauce in the fridge for any impromptu dumpling snacking!
