The Healthy Mix Dinners Sloppy Joes

Sharing is caring!

Skinnymixer’s Sloppy Joes features in the Budget section of the Thermomix (plus conventional cooking) cookbook The Healthy Mix Dinners.

The Healthy Mix Dinners was written to help take a little bit of stress out of dinner time and help answer the question “What’s for dinner?” 🥰

I always wanted to eat a Sloppy Joe growing up, after seeing them in a few American movies – but I never knew what they were – when I was thinking about budget recipes and how mince is always a great ingredient to save money with – the idea for sloppy joes popped into my head!

Another ultra versatile recipe, this can be used in so many different ways – check out the serving suggestions below.

This must be my most eaten dish from testing. It did help that I first made a single recipe, and then I tried the double lot. Both worked out really well. I’m usually one to get bored with eating the same thing every day.

I had it on microwaved jacket potato, then sweet potato, air-fried sweet potato cubes, rice, pasta, sourdough toast… It will even go great with zoodles.

A slightly sweet mince that’s really good and so versatile, you’ll want to make it a double batch!
