  1. I made these tonight! Thumbs up from the family! Juicy, tasty and sooooo delicious! I was so surprised they stayed together with no egg- but the did! Very impressed! Next time I’ll make a double batch and freeze them! I googled a Big Mac special sauce recipe to serve with these! Healthy homemade maccas!

  2. I thought would make these just now after reading all the comments about being juicy and tasty. Well they were definitely tasty, but did anyone else find them a bit dry?

    1. I didn’t find them too dry. Could be the type/brand of mince as well as cooking time making the difference??

  3. Yum! So good. Made Big Macs using your party recipe and a sauce recipe from the recipe community on brioche buns! Won’t be buying maccas anytime soon 🙂

  4. Just had these for dinner with fresh, grass fed beef from a local farmer. Holy moly…juicy and delicious!! Love the texture of them and after cooking on the BBQ they were just perfect! Also had them with the maple mayonnaise (so delicious as well!!). Another fabulous recipe Nik!

  5. These are so easy and tasty. I had them with the savoury pancakes and my bf had buns. He thought it was like hungry jacks with bacon, cheese, mustard and ketchup

  6. After reading all the feedback I thought I would give them a go myself and YUMMO these were fabulous.
    Super simple and delicious!

  7. I made these after seeing them for Simple Meal Sunday and they are just soooo delicious. I also have to admit that I was tempted to add extra ingredients but thought I would try them just as is, and they were perfect as they are! Very simple and very tasty – thank you!!

  8. We have made these twice – once with good quality, farmer direct mince and once with supermarket mince. We enjoyed it more so with the good quality mince as the minimal ingredients mean the flavour of the meat mattered more.
These took no time at all to prepare, held together well, and were a great choice for simple meal Sunday’s 🙂

  9. Great tasting, absolutely easy and quick to make. Served it at a birthday party last week and again this week. (We are having a BBQ in November in Michigan, yeah) . Everyone’s favourite, even my 7year old, who never liked it. Oh, I filled them with feta cheese, yummy.

  10. Easy & delicious burger patties. I always make extras and freeze for easy breakfast/lunch/dinners with a fried egg, salad & fermented veg. Might just go gavebonecright now! x

  11. I was sceptical about this recipe as it only uses 2 ingredients but wow so delicious And it had no problems holding together while BBQing which i wasn’t sure it would do without egg. Its definitely our now go to burger recipe.

  12. So easy and beefy, no comparison to ready made burger patties, no fillers. I’ve added Parmesan and garlic to these as well. I will never buy burger patties. These will be perfect to make and freeze individually for a quick last minute defrost.

  13. So simple, yet so delicious. Have made them twice now, once served with the low carb savoury pancakes, once with homemade sourdough rolls.

  14. Fabulous meal for the whole family. You really feel like your having a real treat. Because you are! But a healthy one. Thanks Nik
